Miro is looking for an entrepreneurial Business Strategy & Development Lead with a background in early-stage healthcare or medical device companies



The Business Strategy & Development Lead is responsible for the development of Miro’s business strategy, revenue and reimbursement model and the cultivation of key strategic partnerships that position the company for growth.


Develop and test financial models to inform Miro’s market entry and growth strategies

Identify key insurance and healthcare delivery partners 

Develop pricing models for Miro services

Estimate Miro revenue projections for key disease and service areas 

Model Miro sales cycle, customer acquisition costs, lifetime value

Test and iterate financial hypotheses through BD efforts


Work with regulatory and insurance groups to gather financial data needed for adoption

Foster industry support of Miro through mutual collaboration

Model Miro’s impact on cost and revenue for healthcare providers and insurers

Work with Miro’s Clinical Studies Manager to test financial assumptions


Establish key partnerships to accomplish Miro’s business goals

Develop Miro’s early partnership, revenue and brand strategy

Establish partnerships that achieve Miro’s early goals


Guide the development of marketing materials to achieve business goals

Work with product team to integrate key revenue-generating services into product

Help develop brand positioning, company identity and marketing approach for market entry

Work with product team to craft Miro’s website for high-impact 


Experience in consultative sales to pharma, CROs and physicians

Strong analytical and finance background

Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow senior-level customer relationships 

Five+ years of proven success in business development

Experience with grassroots marketing and sales

Demonstrated overachievement against aggressive goals set in previous positions


Approachable, calm and assertive, able to create compelling arguments and gain agreement from key individuals, internally and externally

Entrepreneurial with a strong financial acumen; able to understand impact of strategic initiatives and negotiation points on a business engagement

Strong strategic business planning skills, including contingency planning
