Miro is looking for an entrepreneurial Head of Business Strategy & Development with a background in early-stage healthcare or medical device companies. The Business Strategy & Development Lead is responsible for the development of Miro’s business strategy, revenue and reimbursement model and the cultivation of key strategic partnerships that position the company for growth. 


Establish key partnerships with academic researchers, CROs, pharmaceutical companies, and insurers to accomplish Miro’s business goals

Foster industry support of Miro through collaborative scientific and economic studies and publications

Help inform & hone Miro’s early partnership, revenue and brand strategy

Work with regulatory and insurance groups to gain industry adoption

Develop pricing models and reimbursement strategies for Miro services

Estimate Miro revenue projections for key disease and service areas

Guide the development of BD and marketing materials to achieve business goals

Work with product team to integrate key customer needs and revenue-generating services 

Help develop brand positioning, company identity and marketing approach for market entry


5+ years proven success in role with direct, relevant experience in consultative sales (pharma / CROs) and in the development of academic research collaborations

Strong analytical, business development, product and finance background

Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow senior-level customer relationships 

Experience with grassroots marketing and sales

Demonstrated overachievement against aggressive goals set in previous positions

MBA = plus

Entrepreneurial with a strong financial acumen; able to understand impact of strategic initiatives and negotiation points on a business engagement
